Shine..

Hi! I haven't been creating much in the way of cards these last days. I have been to an over-decked Antique Market in Carcassonne to have a look around, have re-covered some old cushions and watched some romantic movies and am reading a great book. Sounds like holiday at home, right?!

I don't want to neglect my blog for too long though, so I am posting a card I made a while ago and which is ready to be posted to a lovely Christian lady who lives in Chicago, and prays for me every day! Prayer knows no limits!

This is a little idea (found in a recent magazine) of how you can create an antique feeling, very cheaply too - don't throw away your old baking tins, let them rust and put some candles in them, nice in the garden or even in the home!

Have a wonderful weekend! DH is in Holland visiting our eldest son, but he doesn't have the beautiful weather we have here. The Mediterranean climate is just ideal, in all seasons!

Have a great weekend!

  11. She will be thrilled with this gorgeous card! Love the rusty tins...but have a feeling my trying to "rust" them wouldn't have the same effect. It only happens when I don't want it to -- on things I don't want it to:)
    Have a wonderful weekend!
